My iPhone camera and microphone does not work
The settings to enable iPhone camera and microphone can vary significantly between different iOS versions, Remo supports iOS 12.4+ and 13.0+. Please note that our mobile site is still in beta!
Note: The steps below were performed on an iPhone 6s in iOS 8. The screen may look different in earlier or latest versions of iOS, but the steps will be the same.
1.1 Open the Settings menu

1.2 Scroll down and select the General option

1.3 Tap the About option at the top of the screen

1.4 To find your iOS version, search for sub-heading 'version' on the About page.
Here you will find your iOS version.
Below the iOS version is listed as iOS 8.1.3, this is usually referred to as iOS 8.

2. Allow Safari access to microphone and camera in iOS 12
2.1 Open the Settings app.

2.2 Scroll down and select the Safari option.

2.3 Tap the button to the right of 'Camera & Microphone Access' to turn it on. The setting is enabled when the button is highlighted green.

3. Allow Safari access to microphone and camera in iOS 13
3.1 Open the Settings app on your iOS device and scroll down and click on '**Safari'**.

3.2 Scroll down again and click '**Camera'**.

3.3 Click the '**Allow'** button.

3.4 Click back and scroll down a little and click '**Microphone'**.

3.5 Click the '**Allow'** button.

4.1 Go to the website you want to allow mic and camera access
4.2 Tap the '**AA'** icon in the address bar.

4.3 Click on '**Website Settings'**

4.4 Click on '**Microphone or Camera'**, a pop up box will appear. Click '**Allow'** on the pop up box.

Note: If you do not see any of the above options, the website has not attempted to access site permissions. In this case, try to refresh the website and repeat the above process.

3.4 Click back and scroll down a little and click '**Microphone'**.

3.5 Click the '**Allow'** button.

4. Turn on your iPhone camera and microphone for a specific website only on Safari on iOS 13
4.1 Go to the website you want to allow mic and camera access
4.2 Tap the '**AA'** icon in the address bar.
4.3 Click on '**Website Settings'**

4.4 Click on '**Microphone or Camera'**, a pop up box will appear. Click '**Allow'** on the pop up box.

Note: If you do not see any of the above options, the website has not attempted to access site permissions. In this case, try to refresh the website and repeat the above process.
