# There are 2 ways to make and invite someone as a speaker.

## There are 2 ways to make and invite someone as a speaker.

**1. Create an Event  
**

*   Under 'prepare' scroll down the page until you see 'invite speakers''  
    
*   Here you can enter emails for speakers
*   Each speaker will receive an invitation

**2. After you have created an Event**

If you have already created an event you can still invite speaker(s) to your event. Here's how:

*   Go to 'My Events' page
*   Hover across an event image
*   Click on the 3 dots in the top right hand corner

*   Right click the 3 dots
*   A mini-drop menu will appear, select the second option 'edit event'

*   Under edit event settings, select 'promote'

*   Under the Promote event tab, you will have the option to invite speakers by entering an email address.
